poems are codes to memories and ideas
a woman who loves to see mistakes
darling
don‘t you ever
try to steal my purse
i‘ve done play-fights
and i‘m stronger than i look
so don‘t you think
of robbing me
cuz once i
befriended a woman
who only loved to
see mistakes in others and herself
i said to her
you can be proud
of yourself
she said
maybe
as she smiled
gentle
high life
who came up
with an idea
that life
must be hard?
what if
life was
soft
life was
sweet
i-ght?
pyramids of snow
i‘m building
pyramids of snow
so after the rain
and a good wind
they‘ll be standing
stronger than ever
and in summer
i chill
i ch-ee-ee-ee-l
as a taxi driver
once told me
hollywood actress
my biggest dream
is to live only in poetry
to transcend the way i look,
nervous ticks around my mouth
or worse
around my eye
for an eye
i wish to be
all-seeing
fearless
and expressive
words don‘t come easy
but we keep trying
body-snatching guru
he had curly hair
and looked like jesus
but not very tall
was jesus tall?
the one i met
wanted me to be his girl
but i didn’t cause
“i’m not into talentless actors”
he didn’t insist
but decided to go
against the grain
and started to trick me
i used to be a weak one
it didn’t take him long
to make me feel
like i need him
oh mary jane
why did you let
stupid boys
come up with
good manipulation techniques?
